GREAT Northwest IPA! Very balanced. Great flavor and aroma. Citrus upon fruit upon citrus. Excellent IBU backbone for the amount of flavor. Great lacing. VERY well-crafted beer! beerguy101 (3542), Newark, California, USA Aug 1, 2003 Medium orange color. Medium head. Aroma is floral hops, and fruit. A full bodied IPA. Malts are nutty and sweet. Hops are floral, grapefruity and dry. The dry hopping brings out the helps balance the malt sweetness. A nicely balanced, bone dry, somewhat bitter IPA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is bitter glkaiser (1017), Seattle, Washington, USA May 21, 2006 On tap at Brouwers. Cloudy amber with minimal head. Sharp pine hop aroma and taste...balanced and not over the top. Sweet malt comes through in the end. Angeloregon (2023), Portland, Oregon, USA Aug 1, 2008 On tap at Trumpeter’s Ale House in Mt. Vernon, WA--Poured a deep amber-orange body with a nice creamy head. Perfect mesh of citrus floral hops and malt underpinning. Perfectly built IPA. SuzyGreenberg (1067), Seattle, Washington, USA Oct 2, 2008 draft @ uber - cleansed my palate with this very nice dry-hopped IPA; bright orange with foamy white head bringing out the sweet, citrus hop aromas; love the big hops from the dry-hopping without the excessive bitterness in the flavors
