Nice beer to drink on St. Patty's Day! Head was very espresso looking and taste was nice, chocolaty and warm on my stomach. Very smooth.

on tap at the infamous boundary bay and bistro in bellingham. dark rich color with off white head. full of chocolate aroma and coffee. taste was simple with chocolate coffee taste and small layers of hoppy after taste

Draft at the Old Town in Ballard. On nitro, alas...but this beer is big enough to fight through that. Pours jet black and a wee bit chalky looking under a dense and creamy tan brick of nitromousse. Nice roasty nose with mild chocolate notes coming through. Creamy medium body, I mean really creamy silky smooth, with virtually no carb showing. Roasty chocolately mid palate, very rich and approachable and pleasant. Mild roasty finish. Very agreeable. Love to try this on CO2 some time.

Sample at Boundary Bay brewpub. Poured a dark but slightly permeable black with tan head. Aroma of coffee, some roast and slight chocolate. Taste was warming, layered and very decent. Malt is toasty with good residual hop bite. Excellent offering.

Nitro tap at the brewery. Black pour with a pillowy light beige nitro head. Mild aroma of coffee. This is a smooth, creamy, low sweetness stout that finishes very dry, as the name suggests. This tastes of pleasantly coffee and chocolate toastiness with a touch of smoke and char. Slightly acidic.

Dark brown color,small tan head that had a short life .The aroma was roasty malt with a nice hint of hops and maybe a little grapefruit,chocolate and coffee. Taste is chocolate and maybe smokey malts.

big dark malt aroma with a light coffee/chocolate aroma lingering. The flavor was great and this beer finishes so dry I needed water. This was another great brew for the day.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a black color with a creamy tan head. Roasted malty aroma with some hints of chocolate. Smooth roasted malty chocolate flavor with some weak hints of coffee. Has a smooth roasted malty finish with some hints of chocoalte in the aftertaste.
