22oz bottle from Shawn... Pours a dark cola brown with a thin film of light tan head... Yeasty chocolate and dark fruit... Thin fluffy dark fruit and chocolate and not much oat to give it that creamy mouthfeel that I’m used to expecting. Soft carbonation as well as mouthfeel.

Draught @ The Alibi Room, Vancouver, BC

Pours pitch black with a nice smooth beige head. Aroma has notes of coffee, chocolate and roasted malts. Taste is smooth with notes of oatmeal, roasted malts and coffee. Long lasting finish of malts and chocolate. Okay imperial stout, but nothing special.

good pour, very dark body with caramel head. Sweet caramel, chocolate and booze smell. Tastes like it smells (sweet and boozy) but with a coffee finish (bitter). In the mouth its a bit thin for my liking with a stout.

Cask at the brewpub in Bellingham, WA. Deep black color with a healthy heaping of mocha foam on top. Aroma of grains and sugar. Little hoppiness; dominated by rich, toasted malts. Good.

On tap at Brouwer’s Washington Beer Fest. Pours glossy black. Chocolate covered gummy bears on the nose. No joke. Then coffee, then chocolate in the flavor - this is really good stuff!

An opaque brown-black meal in a glass topped with a luxurious chocolate coffee head. Outstanding panoply of aromas encompassing oatmeal, roast barley, premier roast coffee, and chocolate. Rich and creamy body completely masks the alcohol though the richness warms the body from the alcohol tingle. Roast coffee, oatmeal, and chocolate flavors all emerge and swarm the senses with their abundance. Alcohol tendrils relax. Breakfast stout bliss.

Pours a blackish brown color. Aromas of mild espresso/chocolate and roasted malts. Taste dark roasted coffee and bittersweet chocolate with a nice dry finish.
