Hazy orange-brown with a white head. Aroma is toffee and orange. Flavor is orange and pine, as well as some biscuit malt and a low amount of bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Amber pour. Odd smell, cant describe it. Flavor is mild, flowery, salty, medium bitterness. Decent.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jonno (2002) - JAPAN - APR 28, 2013
Bit shocked by how mellow this was considering the rep. Balanced - yes, bristling with flavour - no. Malty, toffee overtones with some solid, if uninspired bitterness.
2.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Cory (78) - , California, USA - MAR 11, 2013
Bottle. The first part is great nice hop aroma balanced taste that’s a little sweet behind the bitter. But then the finish is this bad dry sulfur or something and sticks to the back of your mouth. It ruins the whole experience. Unfortunately this was a present so I don’t know if it was a bad bottle or not. Too bad, I was expecting more.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 jgb9348 (3964) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAR 3, 2013
Slightly hazy copper coloured body with a nice two centimetre tan head. Aroma of apricots, malt, pungent citrusey and floral hops and bunches of honey at the end. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and herbal hop notes with a good malt balance and a lightness to the finish. Aftertaste shows some citrus and light pine flavours, a little honey and caster sugar sweetness, a hint of alcohol and good malt presence. Overall, a nice lighter-than-average IPA with a good hop flavour and an even better balance. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Bottleworks in Seattle, Washington on 11-January-2013 for US$4.49 sampled at home in [the real] Washington on 03-March-2013.
3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 wintyguy (68) - British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 4, 2013
All round pretty damn good beer. Good looking pour, nice lacing even out of my Growler. The hops have to have Amarillo in there or something like that, maybe Australian Galaxy but the tangerine orangey sweet flavours throughout makes me think Amarillo. Definite buy again. Love the brewery, great beers.

On tap at sunset. Pretty dependably good beer. Nothing extraordinary. Crisp citrus and medium carbonation and finish with a copper body and nice white bubbly cap.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Gerbeer (857) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 13, 2012
650 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy amber with light head. Aromas of pine, malt, and citrus. Flavors are similar with a bit of toffee. Nice enough but nothing special.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Sammer (887) - Plano, Texas, USA - NOV 5, 2012
Very smooth and balanced IPA. Just enough bitterness, with hints of malt. Nice.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 BMMillsy (683) - Florida, USA - OCT 10, 2012
Decent pale. Not a lot of balance or sweetness here. Would like a little more complexity and maybe a bit more carmel malt to go with the hops.
