A strong pale ale, highly hopped, but still balanced.

22 oz bottle. Honey brown with bone foam. Nose is orange, pineapple, light musk and toffee. Medium body with a buzz finishing resiny. Taste is orange banana, pine and grapefruit peel. Solid for the style. The sweet banana notes draw me in for another sip. I’d love to try the imperial version.

Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours orange copper with a modest off-white head and a citrus aroma. There is a hearty pale malt flavor with lots of grapefruit-like hop bitterness. Very thick flavor.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours hazy orange copper with a white head. Aroma of cooked peach and pine? Near full bodied. Flavor is frui, floral, resin and somewhat roasty malt. Bitter finish.

This was a tasty IPA, nice hop character and really good mouthfeel. With strong, but balanced bitterness. I enjoyed this one

Draft pour at Beer Authority. Pours a thick, cloudy copper color with a fading, head. Hop front aroma. Initially sweet malt flavor with a long transition to a bitter hop finish. Maybe a bit too bitter, if your preference is anything like mine. A pretty standard IPA here. Good overall.

Orange color, nice foam. Hoppy aromas very hidden...balanced weak taste of hops and malt. Some caramel malt. Not impressive.

Deep amber with a tangible foam head. Good malt body with notes of caramel and bread. Aroma is pine, citrus, and floral. The bitterness level is well balanced. Hop flavor comes through and the finish is not too dry. A good beer.

Type: 16-oz. bottle Glass: Pint glass From: MacKenzie River Pizza in Spokane, Wash. Price: $3.50 (Happy Hour) Purchased: March 21, 2014 Consumed: March 21, 2014 Misc.: N/A Poured a dark orange, murky color with one finger of white head when I got it. Below average lacing on the sides of the glass. Average-to-below average retention on the top. Smelled Smarties candy, floral hops, light grapefruit, citrus hops, lemon juice and rubbing alcohol. Really hard to find though. Tasted candied floral hips, light bitter grapefruit, booziness, rubbing alcohol, citrus hips and buttery notes. Medium body. Oily texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Astringent finish. Nothing too special. Would not have it again, although this was my second time having it.

Draught. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a moderate off-white head on it. Nose has some very nice hoppy elements to it, with some piney and herbal notes coming off it. Taste is pleasantly bitter, though it feels just slightly heavy. Pretty good.
