This was a tasty IPA, nice hop character and really good mouthfeel. With strong, but balanced bitterness. I enjoyed this one

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft pour at Beer Authority. Pours a thick, cloudy copper color with a fading, head. Hop front aroma. Initially sweet malt flavor with a long transition to a bitter hop finish. Maybe a bit too bitter, if your preference is anything like mine. A pretty standard IPA here. Good overall.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Deep amber with a tangible foam head. Good malt body with notes of caramel and bread. Aroma is pine, citrus, and floral. The bitterness level is well balanced. Hop flavor comes through and the finish is not too dry. A good beer.

From: MacKenzie River Pizza in Spokane, Wash.
Price: $3.50 (Happy Hour)

Consumed: March 21, 2014
Poured a dark orange, murky color with one finger of white head when I got it. Below average lacing on the sides of the glass. Average-to-below average retention on the top.
Smelled Smarties candy, floral hops, light grapefruit, citrus hops, lemon juice and rubbing alcohol. Really hard to find though.
Tasted candied floral hips, light bitter grapefruit, booziness, rubbing alcohol, citrus hips and buttery notes.
Medium body. Oily texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Astringent finish.
Nothing too special. Would not have it again, although this was my second time having it.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a moderate off-white head on it. Nose has some very nice hoppy elements to it, with some piney and herbal notes coming off it. Taste is pleasantly bitter, though it feels just slightly heavy. Pretty good.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark copper with orange highlights under a large orange pith hued head which slowly fades into a thin layer with a few arcs of lace. Swirls fluffy.
Pine sap and hop resin. Caramelized melba and bread crust underneath and in the back. Bittersweet whole apples in the middle. Grapefruit oils along the side.
Medium weight with a slick viscosity in the middle and along the sides. Dry finish of pine oils and hop resins. Sticky sweet caramel and toasted malt underneath along with a hint of apple skins. Grapefruit oils along the side. More pine and hop resins in the front.
Quite the solid IPA from Boundary Bay, a brand new brewery to the Beer Ambassadors. Based on the tastiness of their Inside Passage Ale, we would like to enjoy more of their brews. Can anybody hook us up? Until then, keep brewing because you have a good thing going.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Bellingham. Pours red gold. Aroma is full and sweet caramel; spicy pine, light catty, moderate ripe fruit. Flavor is more sweet, orange bitterness and fruit, metalic finish. Feel is sticky, warning, dense. Not a standout but good.
