Aromas of toffee, caramel, dark fruit, floral hops. Hazy amber brew with a fluffy lasting tan head. Flavors of caramel and toffee, big maltiness with a touch of tart fruit and a floral peppery bitterness in the finish. Some alcohol, smooth body with decent carbonation.

clean dark amber, not much head at all, but looks great. floral meadow milk caramel nose. smashing barleywine! The body is thinner than others which allows you to experience the waves of each sip. sweet becomes floral hoppy becomes oaky becomes warm becomes caramel sweet finish a only a touch hot. great for a barelywine that may be meant to be enjoyed young as there’s no vintage dating on the bottle.

snifter @ beverage place barleywine bacchanal - dark amber with suspended haze; stale aromas of sugar, malts; texture is slightly thin; drinks smooth with a fruity finish; a very crisp and clean BW
