6 oz. sample on tap at the brewpub, pours a hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Very subtle nose of not much - cereal, grains, light spicy and grassy hops. Flavour of dry, spicy, grassy hops and biscuity malt. Pretty bland pilsner - nothing intriguing about this on any level, not even "refreshing" really.

at boundary bay on tap and listed as a seasonal. golden color and cloudy with little to no white head. bitter but not much taste. little let down, but being at boundary bay was good enough for me

draft at the brewery. pours a crystal clear bright gold with a fine thin felty white head. nice lemon and grass nose. creamy medium body, surprisingly thickish and grainy for a bottom fermenter. caramellish, nuts, lemon verbena and grass on the mid palate, with a nice dry peppery herbal hop finish. well done.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small longlasting white head. Has a malty grainy aroma with some grassy hoppy hints. Sweet malty grainy grassy flavor. Dry malty grassy hoppy finish.

Pours golden orange with a nice head into a pilsner glass. Aroma is a little sweet and bready. Nice light sweetness is followed by a grassy hop presence. A nice light pilsner that is a pleasant palate cleanser during lunch.

Refreshing nose with a lot of spicy hops and a fluffy white head. Bread crumb maltiness, very crips and clean, with a light to medium body. Very mellow and enjoyable.

Hazy golden-amber. Thin but rich head. Very grassy aroma with pungent sage-like undertones and plenty of baguette-like malts. Quite crisp and hoppy, with a big crusty malt kiss, leading into a long, herbal hop finish. Assertive, rustic, quenching pils for summer, more or less in the Bavarian interpretation.
