Delicious brew. I had to have another one in Seattle. Local brew from on tap. I’m not sure how good it is off tap, but it sure was good on tap. Malty and fairly smooth. Yum. Best beer other than Guinness I’ve had lately.

Hideous. There’s is just nothing here to make me want to drink this. Thin, lacking in everything....a step above Bud. Maybe.

Pint @ 418 Public House. Smells a tastes a little smoky and certainly malty but it’s just not big enough to really hammer it home. After all of those Elysian Valhallas, this scotch style ale is practically sessionable.

650ml bottle pours amber in color with a finger and a half of off-white head which leaves little lacing on the glass. Aroma is smoky malts. Taste is smokey with some caramel malt sweetness and a slightly sour finish. Medium body and light carbonation. A decent scotch style ale but nothing really special.

An esbls tasting. Clear and coppery. Na small tan head. A soft nose has light fruit and mild hoppiness. Molasses flavors, chocolate, light fruit. Nicely understated andvit gets nicer as it warms.

Pours with a ruby-copper body and a huge and very languishing head. The aroma is soft fruity malts with a hint of caramel and cherry. The taste is heavy malt and a sharp alcoholic finish. It’s pretty, but it needs a lot more work to become truly tasty.
