(Draft: Boundary Bay Brewery & Bistro in Bellingham, WA) A single-hopped pale ale, orange golden in color and fully cloudy, that emanates pleasant, sweet orange-citrus and tea-like aromas. Totally reminds me of the iced tea my mom used to make when I was a kid -- she would put sugar and plenty of orange wedges in the tea. Of course, this tastes more like beer than my mom’s iced tea. It’s light-to-medium bodied and has a mild, pale malt base that allows the moderately bitter and lightly citrusy Willamette hops to be showcased. Like most single-hopped pale ales, this is simple and pretty easy drinking, but that’s the point. Good stuff.

On tap at the brewpub. A light hazy orange/amber. Aromas wer sweet fruity and of light grains. Flavor was pale malts and a taste of wet paper. Not partiularly interesting.

Murky medium orange color. Starchy grass flavors, with some honey, wheat and corn as well. Musty and hearty texture, but devoid of substance - bland and simple overall. Aroma consists of some sour lime, kiwi, while the beer finishes with a strong musty hop coating. Very sour and unpleasent.
