Pale yellow colour, some white head showing and a big nostril full of ginger, real ginger at that - ginger root rather than powder. Full cabonation and then a flush of sweetish ginger beer flavour. I can see the spot this holds in the drinkscape as a cool, summer quencher and on that basis I’ll be finishing the bottle quite happily. However ,not an earth shattering beer experience. It has its charms, but a little sweet for me.

Aroma is generic golden lager: malt, with the tiniest hint of ginger. The taste and palate aren’t much better. A hint of ginger spiciness on top of a boring lager with a watery palate and non-existent finish. Having said that it’s certainly refreshing and very drinkable if that’s what you’re going for.

Tap at Beervana 2011. Not quite sure how to rate a ginger beer besides saying it has notes of ginger.....That’s all I got. After a shit load of beer all day this was pretty refreshing so thumbs up to that
