COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Little Brother is a rich and malty ale. A bit of roastiness, toffee, candy and chocolate come through as it warms. A smaller batch of Little Brother was aged in a Heaven Hill Bourbon barrel and blended back in for a touch of Bourbon. Little Brother is a pleasant and satisfying cold weather warmer.

Deep ruby in colour. A little thick and meaty on the nose. I really like the play of sweetness and light vanilla bourbon. Thick and oily in the mouth and warm in the stomach.

UPDATED: JAN 11, 2012 Tap @ Holiday Ale Festival... Poured deep, mahogany with little-to-no head. Fruity, estery, toasted caramel malts. A little drying with a nutty, candied tone. Bourbon barrel wasn’t as pronounced as I’d hope for.
