Bottle. Clear yellwo coloured with a meidum sized white ehad. Spicy and herby aroma of hops with notes of hay. Flavour of fruits, hay, herbs and hops. A bit atery. Not bad for a tropical lager.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a clear pale golden with a creamy, white head that dissipates rather quickly. Aroma primarily of metal and brewing cereal. Medium body with a little sweet malt and brewing cereal. Basically absent bitterness. 180808

33 cL bottle, thanks to Alex for a new country rating. Pours clear yellow to pale yellow with a lacing white head. Mild spiced and slight cardboardish aroma. Mild sweetness to an otherwise dry and bitter flavour. Light bitter finish.

Bottle at Restaurant de la Réunion, Paris, as Bourbon Dodo
Blond color, no head. Poor aroma and flavor; medium-low bitterness. I think I won’t appreciate it even in a warm climate.

Canned 33cl. It pours a yellow beer with a tall white head. The nose is sulphury with hints of apples, vinegar and wet cardboard. The taste is extremely grainy and sour. Malty. Surprising decent peppery finish accompanied by a metallic touch.
