3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Whole Foods PM. Wow, my second Radler in a few days. Pours turbid magenta with pink head. Nose is heavy raspberry, strawberry. Tastes rich, with big notes of raspberry, strawberry, earthiness. Smooth finish, some champagney yeast. This is a solid fruit beer, and transcends the beer/wine boundary with aplomb.

750ml bottle Swing Top 10/19/14 (Binny’s Downers Grove)-46° in Shaker-Pours a purplish hue with a small white head. Aroma of berry. Taste of the same. This light bodied brew is a nice mild tasting fruit beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a purple-red-brown hue. Aroma is awesome, blueberry pancake syrup. Taste is less intense, strawberry, raspberry combination that fades quickly. Finish is very clean. Only knock on this would be very thin body and lack of astringency. Could use some tartness and certainty more effervesence to balance the sweet fruit. Very much worth trying though.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750ml flip top bottle. Opens with a nice pop. Pours a dulled purple amber body. Thin, soda like head. The fruit taste is nice, but the background beer is so mild it almost doesn’t register. Mild and easy going, utilizes simple clean brown malts that the French excel at. A great picnic beer or dinner beer, very smooth and easy on the palate, refreshing.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
New Beer Distributors, NY 750ml ($7): Pours a red that is just read enough that you know there are berries and shit in there. Head is pink, so yeah. Aroma reminds me of a combination of pale lager and the raspberry syrup I used to put into seltzer as a kid. Taste is fruity and fortunately not too sweet. The fruity side is fine, but the beer side is sort of lacking. I purchased this on a whim, but the price tag should have steered me away.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma is what I assume to be bilberries (like a mix of grapes and cherries) and an undercurrent of malts. The flavor is berries, malts and a mix of sweetness and tartness in the finish. Kind of one-dimensional but not bad.
