Bottle 33cl. @ post Borefts BF 09 hotel tasting
Unclear medium grey red color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, pink off-white head. Aroma is moderate red berry - bilberries - blueberry. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, artificial. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091031]

330 ml bottle. From bierzwerg.de.
Dark brownish red colour with small to average size light pink head. Sugar, berry juice and berries in aroma. I can’t say if it’s necessarily blueberries might be also raspberries. Flavour is drier. There’s also berries, raspberries or blueberries. Malt, hints of bitterness and some sweetness too. Unbalanced.

[330ml bottle, Beers of Europe, King’s Lynn] Vibrant dark-red pour, with a thin coating of bubbles. Deep blueberry aroma, right from the start. Apparently French Myrtilles are bilberries – but never having tasted one it was blueberries that came out for me (and they’re very similar anyway). Long, dry fruity finish. The nicest of the Bourganel beers I’ve had [06012012]

330ml bottle. Hazy brown purple with rapidly fading pink-white head. Blueberry - just blueberry. That’s it. Liquid muffin. Anyhow, i like blueberries.

Bottled 330ml (BZ, BB 10/2012)
Deep red color, small steady pinky head. Dry rasberry stone aroma, also a bit lemonade like. Light bodied. Dry berryish flavor, the closest is rasberry and rasberry stones, but maybe it could be described as blueberries as well.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a glowing ruby colour with a decent pink head. Big berry aroma of blueberries, cherry and caramel. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel.

Test vom 3.8.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Bottle 33cl, clear amber beer with head that goes quickly. Again a very watery beer, aroma is nice on blueberries but there is nothing else there, no malt, no hops.

bottle from Village de la Bière Strasbourg. Clear brownish-golden colour, mid-sized head. Aroma of blueberries. Not sweet, the berry flavours are natural and not artificial at all. You still notice it’s beer - and quite ok for a blueberry beer.
