Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Clear golden colour with a small white foam. Rather one-dimensional aroma of nougat, nuts and cardboard. medium-bodied with notes of straw, nuts, nougat and milk. Low bitterness in the firm finish of nuts and milky chocolate.

May 8, 2008 Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Clear golden, minimal head - looks dull. Evident nougat aroma. Sweet with clean hard mouthfeel. Artificial flavour of nougat and vegetables. Some bitter almond in an empty finish.

Nov 23, 2006 Smells gorgeous - toasted coconut, honey & nuts & roasted peanuts & almonds. Drink tastes vaguely the same, but also of damp paper and stale beer. The base beer used in the Bourganels appears to be rather poor quality, so the interest lays with the flavouring. This one has the best flavouring. I quite liked this one.
