Bottled. A golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, metal, and straw, leading to a dry metallic finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle 33cl, a clear yellow beer with low head. Nose has lager notes with wet paper. Aroma is medium sweet to low, honey and wet paper notes, body is very thin. Finish is short with a light orange touch, poor. This beer is not an ale as it’s done with bottom yeast.

Vaiz (2034) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - SEP 21, 2010
After a day of canoeing on the Ardeche, I was delighted to find a real Ardeche beer in a local store. It’s not very good, a bit buttery and watery and the aroma is somewhat sharp and uninviting. But it’s always nice to see some real local brews. And at least it is better than most macro brews available around here.

clear yellow, smooth white head. dry as a pilsener, but with a little note of spices. flavor is spicy, yellow fruity, dry, carboardy. sort of like pilsener and blond ale mixed if that makes any sense.

Papsoe (22948) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 12, 2010
Bottle 33 cl. Clear golden with a white head. The aroma is primarily sweet malts. Medium body, sweetish malty - almost lagerish - but with an edge of top fermenting yeast, it’s not Pilsner clean. Fairly metalic notes and a surprisingly hoppy finish. 200510
