0.33l bottle @ Braai Tapperij de Mug, Middelsburg. This is a blurry deep raw red-brown one with a small lightly sidesticking woody-brown head. It has a light caramelly-sweet aroma, some dusty chocolate in here, I also get some dark black ripe berries here. Not extreme, and my nose is getting all sorts of other smoky and perfumy aromas from the people sitting next to me, but I found the aroma in the beer quite nice. Oh, it was a really sweet one! Reminds me of a faro-lambic! Sugar syrup, not any bitterness to speak home about, hints of something acidic in here also. Not especially good, but this is one of those beers I will remember more of the story behind getting it - not so much for the flavor itself. 30.05.2012

Tasting glass in a beer tasting in Bruges, Belgium. My new favourite beer style. This has not too much winegar acidity, but also not too sweet. Everything is in balance. Be warned, though, the taste does not resemble other beers.

Marrom bastante escuro, espuma bege, de média duração. Aroma licoroso, lembra Biotônico Fontoura, jabuticaba. Paladar levemente ácido, adocicado. Aftertaste um pouco aguado, carbonação flat. Estilo diferente, nunca havia provado.

0,75 bottle. Pours dark brown colour with medium off-white head. Excellent lacing. Aroma of white wine, light to moderate malty, light hoppy, grape, vinegar. Flavour is heavy sweet, light acidic, winy, sometimes you forget that you’re drinking a beer. Finish is light sweet, light to moderate acidic, sourmedium long. Body is light to medium, texture is syrupy, lively carbonation.

Bottle at home. Dark brown, slightly reddish, hazy, beige foamy head. Watery red wine like tones, red fruity, dusty/earthy (lambiek), light roasted malts, metallic defects. Slightly sour, mainly sweet but no big flavours; lambiek is present, base ale is too thin, overall not too balanced. Aftertaste isn’t too memorableb either. Watery body, medium carbonation.

(Found, that I havent rated this) - very nice beer for me, dark brown with red in colour and very rich vine style tatse, wine sourness is excellently balanced with typical beer notes.

Flaska@Delirium Cafe Beer Cave.

Bottle from Bruges. Pours ruby with a thin cream head. Sweet fruity balsamic vinegar aroma. The taste is sweet with sours notes of cherry and soy sauce. Very drinkable, but a little lacking in body, complexity and flavour. OK.
