From Voldby, DK. Bottled, 150910. Brown with beige head. Aroma of malt and hop spices. Flavor with caramel, notes of chocolate and coffee and a balanced spicyness. A very nice american style

Bottle at Papsø’s - Thanks. Clear brown - white head. Roasted, berries, nutty, fruity, light hoppy, sweetness, light hoppy, bubblegum, herbal. Light off.

Bottle at Papsø. Clear red brown coloured with a small off-white head. Sweet aroma of caramel, spices and liquorice. Sweet flavour of caramel, spices and liquorice with murky notes. Spicy finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a deep amber glare and a small off-white head. Aroma is roasted malty, slight fruity and breadish. Sweet, malty and slight breadish flavoured. Dry malty finish.

Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of caramel, and, and a bit of fruit. The flavor is sweet caramel, metal, malt, and some fruit, leading to a dry bready finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a nutty brown with a slight haze and a small, rough off-white head. Nutty, roasted aroma. Fairly solid body, roast and sweet Sherry notes. There’s a yesty touch also. Some roasted bitterness and booze. Not strictly to style, but pleasant nonetheless. 200111

Hazy dark brown body and a small fast diminishing creamy off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, a bit smoke, caramel and nuts. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Thick creamy body and a low carbonation.

Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium to dark red brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty - hazelnuts, licorice - anis - licorice root, light hoppy, orange - citrus. Initial flavor is moderate sweet and bitter, finish flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy with a long to average duration, caramel, roasted malt, light metalic. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101117]

Bottle. Weak roasted aroma. Clear dark brown colour. Small light brown head. The flavour is quite roasted, has a slightly unpleasant bitterness, OK in combination with the roasted note, though. Has a little yeasty note in the finish, like Belgian yeast.
