3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 yngwie (9187) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 1, 2008
Bottle. It pours a nice ruby to brown body, almost clear, with a beige head. Caramel, roasted malt and sweetness in the aroma, sure not on the hoppy side, though there are some fruity notes. Sweet, caramel flavor with some fruityness, leading to a lightly fruity and hop-bitter finish. Quite dryish, medium body. Sure, it’s a nice brew, but their regular doppelbock is better. (080314)
