Clear medium to dark orange amber colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, bread, caramel, dark bread, light roasted. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to light light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, bread, caramel, oxidide notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120915]

Can @ Really late Summer Tasting Ulfborg, 2012. Pours clear dark amber with a creamy head. Very malty. Caramel and bread. Medium bodied. A bit of dust.

Single tall can purchased from a BC Liqour Store in Vernon, BC on 07/02/2012. Colour: Medium-dark brown with a nice red glow. Low white lacing. Nose: Toasted grains and a dark bread of some sort. Gingerale whisp. Tobacco leaves. Taste: Medium-light sweet, light bitter, light sour. Again a bread of some sort - this time fresh out of the bag. Light toffee. Some parsnip and turnip. A bit off-kiltered.

500 ml can. Mostly clear copper, foaming off white head disappears instantly. Seaside aroma, tide in. Sweet caramel roasted malt taste, some light bitterness. Average carbonation, light-medium bodied, lightly hopped. No hint of KB’s signature cloying funky yeasty malty taste... a pleasant surprise! Malty sweet finish. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)
