3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
473ml can pours a deep amber color with a finger and a half of light beige head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel with a raisin note and hints of grass. Taste is a raisin and caramel malty sweetness with a light grassy hop bitterness. Light bodied with generous carbonation. Can see tiny bubbles rising to the surface. Overall, this is better than I expected.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy dark amber to red color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light lacing sticking and then sliding into the beer.
The smell had a strong roasted caramel to nutty maltiness to it.
The taste was mainly the same with an ample amount of light chocolate to balance. Its barely there. A light malty sweet aftertaste leads to a dry sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was somewhat subdued but still good for the style and for me.
Overall, I say this was a decent American Amber / Red ale I might be able to have again.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500 ml can. Mostly clear copper, foaming off white head disappears instantly. Seaside aroma, tide in. Sweet caramel roasted malt taste, some light bitterness. Average carbonation, light-medium bodied, lightly hopped. No hint of KB’s signature cloying funky yeasty malty taste... a pleasant surprise! Malty sweet finish. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)
