Bouteille 341 ml. 5%. Une rare trouvaille dans la région. Couleur rousse traditionnelle. Bonne

12 oz bottle sample bought as a single at a corner store in Gatineau- Notes from March 07- A deep copper pour sports a frothy beige cap. Nose of caramel malts and grains, some prune too. Sweet caramel flavour is accompanied by a distinct taste of asparagus. Earthy and thin with watery finish. Poor.

Bouteille 341ml.

Mild cabbage and caramel in the aroma. Clear amber coloured body topped by a fizzy, off white head that recedes to a partial cover and ring. Caramel in the flavour along with cabbage. No notable hop character or bitterness though sweetness is not quite cloying. Light watery texture with hard bubbled and shortlived carbonation. Half pint glass. Just above fridge temperature. Bottle (Joanette, Jul-06).

341 ml bottle. Pours a red-amber color ale. Good foamy head. Nice bubbles. Preservatives after-taste. Not my favorite.
