On cask (handpump) at Great British Beer Festival, day 3 on 6 August 2009. The latest in a seemingly endless procession of golden ales at this festival. Nothing particular in this one to distinguish it from the opposition. Clear gold colour. Some fruity hops but finishes quite dry. Just a touch of citrus. Respectable. Should probably try it again without the distraction of so many similar beers.

Cask at GBBF 05-08-09 Courtesy of Ian, cheers mate. Pours crystal clear goild with a white head, in fact as I remarked to Ian it looks stunning. Soft in the mouth, and maybe a touch thin, malts are a bit weak, bitterness a little insubstantial, its fine but the looks promised much more, bit like a blonde bimbo really. A6 A5 F6 P3 Ov13 3.3
