M0RHI (1026), Luxembourg, Luxembourg Dec 19, 2006 Cask, Cellar Bar, St Andrews. Hazy orangey-amber-chestnut, reasonable off-white head. Very acetic nose, balsamic. Disguises the hops, stale nose. Bitter and strong malty, touch of malty biscuit. Generic beer taste, some fluffy taste (like drinking head, but not actually drinking head). No palate, watery, boring, uninspiring. Don’t think it was at its best, but still, really really dull. DJMonarch (4091), Northwich, Cheshire, England Jan 17, 2006 Cask Stillage at the Community Centre, Frodsham 07/05/2004
Amber golden coloured hoppy and bitter. Crisp slightly dry finish which lasts. maeib (4012), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England May 16, 2004 Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Rugby BF. An amber coloured bitter with a malty, fruity aroma. The taste is reasonably fruity and there is hops in the aftertaste. SilkTork (3941), Rochester, Kent, England May 3, 2004 Gravity, Reading Beer Festival. Dark amber diacetyl best bitter with an earthy hop finish. Old school, but not quite up to standard. Butterscotch all over the place! Hmm.
