Cask, Cellar Bar, St Andrews. Hazy orangey-amber-chestnut, reasonable off-white head. Very acetic nose, balsamic. Disguises the hops, stale nose. Bitter and strong malty, touch of malty biscuit. Generic beer taste, some fluffy taste (like drinking head, but not actually drinking head). No palate, watery, boring, uninspiring. Don’t think it was at its best, but still, really really dull.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Rugby BF. An amber coloured bitter with a malty, fruity aroma. The taste is reasonably fruity and there is hops in the aftertaste.

Gravity, Reading Beer Festival. Dark amber diacetyl best bitter with an earthy hop finish. Old school, but not quite up to standard. Butterscotch all over the place! Hmm.
