Cask (gravity dispense) at Reading Beer Festival, April 2006. Dark ruby/chestnut colour - rather pale for a porter. Clammy, "sweaty sock" aroma. Dull, dry malt flavour. Rather flat mouthfeel. Something not quite right here. Probably the condition. Default score given.

Gravity cask @ Reading Beer Festivalk 2006. A little thin and a bit sweet. Almost zero aroma. No roast flavours. poor.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Reading BF. A dark dark brown coloured porter. The aroma is fruity with some lightly roasted malts. The taste is bready, malty and fruity. Seemed a bit tired already but drinkable.

Gravity at Reading beer festival 2006. Dark brown. Quite aggressive. Not quite acidic, but really hits the back of the throat. Flat range.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 06. Very dark ruby with bubbly beige head. Toffee, dark malts on aroma. Doesn’t have the mouthfeel or intensity of flavour to make it interesting. Has some powder. For a brewery that does golden beers, this needs work. Dull.

Cask @ Reading 06: Dark dark ruby tan with some nice choc in the nose. Darker fruits and caramel biscuits in the flavour. Balanced and smooth, but nothing amazing.
