Hazy amber with a thin white quickly diminishing head. Aroma of light hops, caramel, bread. Malty body tastes of caramel with a mild citrus finish. Smooth consistency with a dry finish that is the mildest of bitters. One of the milder pale ales I’ve tried.

12 oz. Hazy, burnt orange-amber with a huge head. Slightly sour, resin and citrus aroma. Initial flavor is bitter resin, cardboard, and citrus-sour yeast. Eventually the duo of sourish grapefruit and slight cardboard comes to dominate, with some slight aftertastes of caramel and toasted nut. Light-medium body is dry and tongue-tingly.

You’ve got to wonder about the brewery’s marketing strategy to make this available to retail stores in only prefilled growlers but it’s actually a decent product. Pours a chillhazed amber body with a lavish offwhite head that retains well and leaves plenty of clingy lace on the glass. Aroma is citrusy hops with notes of toasted grain and red apples. Light medium body with medium carbonation. Taste is well balanced. Citrusy hop bitterness is balanced by toasted caramel malt sweetness and red apple notes. Finishes with an earthy hop bitterness. Very well done with no significant flaws. Hope they can have some success in Bowling Green.
