Ooh... Aah! A subtle injection of Elder Flowers defines this beer. Unlike some other brews of this type, there is no heavy floral scent, but more of the tiniest hint of this spring bloom. This beer has plenty of character and a lovely bitter finish.

Cask at Farnham beerex 2008. Poured a nice golen colour with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with a hint of elderflower. The beer is malty with a sweet aftertaste. I liked this beer very much.

Golden in colour, light, hoppy, with the aroma and sweetness from the elderflower. A marvellous pint that you could drink all day...

Cask@ Belfast Beer Fest 2011. Fresh elderflower nose on this golden beer and plenty of flavour despite its modest 3.5% ABV. Good bitter finish from the green bullet hops. Gentle carbonation. Used to be my session beer when I lived in Southampton and just as good with the reduced ABV.

Cask at the CASK, Pimlico, 20th Jan 2011. Clear golden with a little bit of white head. Citric and hoppy but a bit thin, too bland and lacking in bite.

[Cask at the Bootleggers, High Wycombe] Rather anaemic golden colour, negligible head. Grassy hops, some light floral notes and a bit of wee-wee (well, like I imagine wee-wee would taste, I have no plans of actually trying it to find out...). A disappointment after their excellent Maximus.

Cask at peterborough beer fest 2009. Alround rating: Citrusy goodness, light pale malt, small bit of plastic off the hop, but is brushed up by its goodness. Gread body, infinatly drinkable.

(Aug 2008) Golden with a short head. Hoppy. Elderflower is prominent in the scent. Lightly carbonated, sweet with a hint of bitterness on the end. In the mouth, the elderflower doesn’t last and is replaced by a little hop on the end with a dry finish.
