GBBF. Cask. Hazy gold beer with a tidy small white head. Light dry palate. Sweetish pale malts. Some citrus and something that tastes like ginger. Trace of banana. Fresh and minerally but dry. Alright.

Cask at GBBF 2011, Day 3. Pours amber-gold with a small, soft head. SOme spices in the nose. Moderately sweet flavor, more spices, some ginger. Light bodied with fine carbonation. More spice to finish, some caramel malts, very faint bitterness. OK.

Clear medium orange colour with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, dule, strange spicy, ginger - herbal. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, light peppery - ginger. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20110804]

Cask@GBBF2011. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, mildly earthy and caramelly as well. Flavour is ginger, some fruits, mild earth and some slight herbal and malty notes as well.

From cask. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy, citrusy and light herbal. Citrusy, grassy and light bitter dry finish. Ends dry and bitter.

Had this very recently at The Bow Bar in Edinburgh and absolutely loved it. Very refreshing and teh ginger isn’t overdone but definitely adds a nice bite to the palate
