Cask. Pale golden pour with a tight white head. The aroma is softly spicy with a light crackery pale malt aroma. There is a little bit of soft peppery character with a touch of light crackery malt. Light-bodied with a touch of Goldings spiciness. Lovely.

Cask (gravity) - Norwich Beer Festival 2010. Pale gold with a mild haze and a small though lasting bubbly white head. Quite toasty, zesty & dryish with good English hop notes. Finishes quite grassy but not before some sweet hops and a citric bitterness. Short to medium length finish, soft to medium carbonation & a light but firm body.

Cask at the Evening Star, Brighton, UK on 30 August 2010. Gold with thin white head. Light, hoppy, touch of fruit and easy drinking. Light to watery mouthfeel. Fairly subtle flavours but a refreshing quench on a warm August evening.

A straw coloured, light bitter. Refreshing and moreish. This 2-pint take-out is a bit flat, but still tasty.

NOt so bitter either, this time I liked the fact they weren’t that dry. A little dark but still goldy.

Cask at GBBF 2009. Pours a pure golden colour with a thin white head. A lovely fruity hoppy aroma. The flavour is all malt with plenty of fruit flavor with some hints of citrus. The finish is a long malty finish with a lovley citrus aftertaste.

Cask conditioned at The Eight Bells, Alton, Hampshire. Orange gold with white head. Quite still and soft in character but with a juicy, malty fullness, there is an orange citrus to it. Quite bitter in the close, very pleasant.
