Cask at the White Horse, 28th August 2008. Clear amber with a good white head, lively body and a subtle hop aroma. Great taste and palate - a perfect session bitter. The second Bowman beer I’ve had (the other being Quiver at GBBF) and they’ve both wowed me!

On tap at Harp’s, just off The Strand and Trafalgar Square. An absolutely fantastic example of the golden ale style. Strong hop character with just the right amount of bitterness, and excellent citrus notes in both the taste and the aroma. A really good beer.

Bottle at chris o’s teabag for 2009 tasting. Alround rating: Slightly soapy, citrusy british leafy hop, very drinkable tasty stuff.

Cask at Bitter virtue ...golde yellow,light hop,easy ligyt fresh hops little sweet but mostky clean fresh hops

Cask conditioned at The Eight Bells, Alton, Hampshire. Orange gold with white head. Quite still and soft in character but with a juicy, malty fullness, there is an orange citrus to it. Quite bitter in the close, very pleasant.

Pale and ever so slightly hazy (from the cask). Well balanced beer with a sweet malty aroma, a refreshing bitterness and a biscuity citrussy aftertaste. Good for quenching the thirst.

A straw coloured, light bitter. Refreshing and moreish. This 2-pint take-out is a bit flat, but still tasty.

Cask at GBBF 2009. Pours a pure golden colour with a thin white head. A lovely fruity hoppy aroma. The flavour is all malt with plenty of fruit flavor with some hints of citrus. The finish is a long malty finish with a lovley citrus aftertaste.

UPDATED: JUN 12, 2010 Cask at The Guide Dog, Southampton- Pale gold in colour with a mild but pleasant hoppy aroma. A well balanced hoppy and malty taste make this a good session beer in my view.
