Cask @ Bank, Manchester. Deeper gold colour with a creamy head. Has a lovely grain aroma and taste that linger in the palate.

Bottle. Golden brown with an off white head. Aromas are yeasty with nutty weetabix and hints of apple. Flavours are sweet weetabix and biscuit with caramel. Lemon with green apple and a nutty, dry finish. Quite yeasty. Solid enough bitter.

Bottle from Millets Farm Store. Malty smell, nutty with caramel. Similar taste. Malt focused beer. Easy to drink.

Very clean dark golden to brown body with bubbly instable head. Dry and rough malts, lightly toasty, dusty and with a rough low yeast profile. Cardboard even. Taste is in the same vain, not terribly interesting and a bit too dusty. Ah well. (50cl bottle from Beer City)

On cask at the Haymarket. Appearance - amber with a nice head. Nose - toffee some biscuit perhaps a touch of apple. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - solid but doesn’t require copious notes.

Cask at The Haymarket. pours clear amber, thin off-white head. Nutty and biscuit aromas, hazelnuts on the taste. One-dimensional, but not bad.

50cl bottle.

Cask by handpump at State Bar, Glasgow - hazy dark amber, thin white head, caramel malt aroma, sour and bitter, low to moderate carbonation, not my favourite from this brewery

Bottle. Deep chestnut brown with a smallish white head. Nose is nutty and malty with a few roasted notes. It’s a bit thick in the mouth, with more nuttiness, caramel. I’m not really pulling the fruits promised from the label just a whole bunch of malt tones and a little vanilla. Finish is mild, bready and a little disappointing.
