Bottle from West Country Ales
Amber....frothy white head...clear...reasonable lacing
Aroma - light aroma of grassy light citrus hops..hint of zest...sweet pale malts...bit of cereal.
Taste - Pale biscuity malt...light grassy spicy hops...hint of citrus... light cereal ...touch of toffee...mellow but pleasant flavour
Palate - soft carb..thin to medium body...light tang on palate. Finish - moderate bitter..biscuit...light grassy hop...rapid..cleans well
Overall - Mellow beer... quite nice but the aroma and flavour is a bit dull and understated...I reckon it would be better cask

[Bottle, gift from Mum & Dad - cheers!] Deep golden with a slight white head. Rich smooth mouthfeel is very nice going down. Flavour is rathe sweet and syrupy, & the fresh leafy hops need beefing up a bit to balance it. Pleasant enough though.

Cask. Deep golden colour with a small head. Aroma is wood, fruits, some biscuity and caramelly notes. Flavour is rather malty along with some floral, grassy and herbal hoppyness as well. Smooth to drink, and ends in a quite mouthdrying bitterness,.
