DruncanVeasey (7098) - NUNEATON, Top 13, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JUN 28, 2014
500ml from B&M. Burnished gold with a low white head. Nose of farmyard, salinity, lime sharpness, shrubbery and marmalade. Flavour of TCP, biscuit and background dung overpowered by more palatable red apple, shrub and privet. The almond of alcohol to finish with a dunked biscuit aftertaste. OK.

Appearance: Clear amber with finger thick beige head. Aroma: Bready malt, citrus notes, marmalade, grassy and peppery. Taste: Medium bitterness, low/medium sourness with low sweetness. Palate; Smooth thick texture, light/medium body, average carbonation, lingering bitter citrus, marmalade and peppery finish. Comments: Very good.

BeerViking (2292) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 2, 2014
Bottle from Mrs BeerViking, dark amber with a fine ring, toffee apple malt and spice nose, palate is crisp spicy and earthy hops over lightly toasty caramel and marmalade. Really nice English IPA - why is it listed as an ESB?

ComradeK (978) - The Vale of Dundas, AUSTRALIA - MAY 18, 2014
500ml bottle. Pours a clear golden amber, with a small off-white head, which lasts reasonably well, and leaves a little lacing. Floral hops dominate the aroma, with supporting notes provided by fruitcake and toffee malt. It is quite hoppy for an ESB, with plenty of citrus and floral hops up front. These give way to a fruity mid-palate, with toffee malt giving it some weight. There is a slight charry note to the finish. A solid and enjoyable, if not amazing, bitter.

erickok (3414) - Tours (and Paris), FRANCE - APR 10, 2014
Quite clean golden body, small head. Okay hop mix, English and citrus modern at the same time. Bit sweeter than expected but that’s a good thing in this case, because it gives some character. Very soft carbonation, oily even. Enjoyable brew. (50cl bottle from Beer City)

Amber Farbe, sehr wenig Schaum. Geruch fruchtig hopfig. Geschmack trocken fruchtig, zum Abgang hin wird es herb.

a_cross (593) - Poole, Dorset, ENGLAND - NOV 24, 2013
Bottle from Stourhead NT shop; amber, loads of bubbles, moderate foamy head; aroma is overwhelmingly of sulphur; taste is citrus (grapefruit, bitter orange), some sulphur too which adds a strange, distinctive but not unpleasant character; good strong earthy / floral hop finish; a resolutely English IPA and all in all an enjoyable beer.

allmyvinyl (2793) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 24, 2013
Cask at the Golden Guinea, Bristol. Pours a clear gold with thin white head, good lacing. Aromas are caramel, floral hops, light citrus. Trade has a good bitterness, light sweet. Slightly oily texture, but otherwise a good enough British cask ipa.
