Cask; Regular. Also available bottled.
Formerly known as Vanilla Porter. Renamed in 2009.
Dark brown in colour, with a subtle vanilla aroma. The vanilla sweetness contrasts nicely with the slight bitterness from the roasted barley and chocolate malts

This is a rather thin porter, with a nice dark brown colour and brief cream-coloured head. Aromas of dark chocolate, vanilla and some red berry. The flavour is milk chocolate and vanilla. Not too complex, but terribly tasty! Good stuff!

Nice beer, got it at Nurnberg fair.. No taste of vanilla as it stands, quite dry, however has interesting fullness which is growing how you are getting used to it. A seroius brew maybe not my taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, shared with TylerDurden. Medium brown, bubbly tan head. Sweet milk chocolate and coffee roast intermingle, vanilla undertones. Roasty dry finish. Medium bodied with a denser flavour profile than expeced for a lighter porter. Very nice.

On cask at Congress, Longton. Pours black brown with tan head, A decent porter, very chocolatey but it overpowers any vanilla if there is some. Good though.

Bottle. Dark brown with thick tan head that does not last. Good aroma of rich chocolate and some coffee. Slightly sweet taste with noticeable chocolate before becoming more tangy with a hint of coffee. Medium carbonation mouthfeel is just a little thin but good overall

Bottle from LCBO. Pours deep brown with a small tan head. Nose is chocolate, coffee and vanilla undertones. Light sweet chocolate with an equally light and balanced coffee and chocolate bitterness. Some dark fruit lurking in the background. Medium mouth that seems a tad thin with soft carbonation.
