Cask @ The Willow Walk. The pour’s medium brown with a tiny off-white head. The nose is lemon, some spicy nutmeg, baked brown bread and toffee. Mildly yeasty. The taste is light watery malts, some caramel, hints of citrus and grass. Medium body, soft carbonation. Overall, fine, pretty boring.

Cask at Market Porter. Pours a clear chestnut with a gray head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of musty grass and a hint of pine backed by some earthy grains. Flavor has a good amount of grass with a hint of citrus and some earthy grains.

Bottled, filtered, 500ml from Millets Farm Shop, Frilford, Oxon. Reddish chestnut with white head. Good fruity aroma leading to a sweetish, fruity, nutty flavour from a rich malt body. Hints of redcurrant and strawberry in the body, some bitterness too. Quite reasonable.

UPDATED: NOV 11, 2012 Cask conditioned Handpump Althorp Coaching Inn Great Brington. A mahogany coloured beer with a whitish head and lace. Husky malts with light coffee notes. A nice nutty bitter in the mouth. A touch thin but the malts are nice and give a sweet edge. Fine. Score 3.4

On gravity at Swindon beer festival, 27/10/2011. Amber with a slight off-white head. Sweetish, bramble fruit aroma with a hint of caramel and leafy hops. Flavour had more fruit, some slightly bready malts and gently bitter finish. Good.
