COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Full-bodied, deep amber premium bitter, with a delicate blackcurrant aroma. Initial gentle bitterness on the palate and subtle spicy notes are followed by a sweet, fruity finish.

On gravity at Swindon beer festival, 27/10/2011. Amber with a slight off-white head. Sweetish, bramble fruit aroma with a hint of caramel and leafy hops. Flavour had more fruit, some slightly bready malts and gently bitter finish. Good.

Cask conditioned Handpump Althorp Coaching Inn Great Brington. A mahogany coloured beer with a whitish head and lace. Husky malts with light coffee notes. A nice nutty bitter in the mouth. A touch thin but the malts are nice and give a sweet edge. Fine.
