Draft at Andyís corner bar. Deep reddish copper brown in color with an off white head. Malty caramel toasty aroma. Malty, caramel bitter flavor. Some diacytel notes. Medium bodied. If it wasnít for the diacytel it would be a really nice beer. I did enjoy the first few sips.

Draft sample at Philly airport. Pours darker amber brown. Nose caramel, brown sugar, molasses. Taste sweet malt front, then the caramel and molasses. Minimal bitterness. Sweeter finish.

a lighter brown colored beer with about an average foam head. Well carbonated. Wonderful aroma of roasted/toasted malts with subtle hints of fresh hops. A nice sort of complex malt taste with roasted malts. Tastes like a lighter porter. Flavor though is weak and watery and a bit gritty or course. I get the impression that it has been diluted. I think this could be a decent beer if it only had a little more flavor and body.

Brown. The aroma is mostly chocolate. The flavor is chocolate as well. Not much else going on. Kind of thin.

12 oz bottle. Clear amber brown with a huge, foamy beige head. Nose is apple, brown sugar and tobacco. Super sudsy, sharp and fizzy; somewhat substantial underneath. Taste is watery coffee, bittersweet chocolate and peanut. Easy drinking with a papery finish.

From the tap poured a brown color with a fair amount of head. Light malty flavor with a quick finish.

12 oz bottle that definitely has some QC issues. I popped the cap and was treated with a loud gushing sound and was shocked when it didnít start overflowing. Poured into my DFH hybrid snifter/tulip glass to receive about a half inch of actual liquid and four inches of super foamy light beige head. After letting it settle and finishing pouring the rest of the bottle into the glass I realized almost 15 minutes had transpired, glad Iím not a bartender trying to serve this while Iím busy. Once settled the aroma was very dusty, some cocoa powder, dried out old grains, some dark cherry skins. The palate was not pleasant and itís super carbonation almost scratches your throat as it goes down. The flavor was similar to the aroma with a touch of very lightly buttered dark bread toast and a hint of chocolate. Meh, not good.
