This is an exceptional Christmas Ale. Light caramel brown with a moderate head that quickly dissapates. Perfect balanced flavor of malt and fruit. The flavor is a complex mix of plums, licorice, caramel and pine. Quite earthy and rich. very good finish with a mild alcoholic kick. Subtle and smooth.

Dark amber; creamy generous head. Aroma of malt, cork, nuts. Sweet, but less than other Christmas beers, malty, caramel, light liquorice, a bit corky, well balanced, with a well bitter final (also the roasted malt contributes).

Deep garnet/brown with medium creamy head. Aroma is strong raisin/prune and caramel. Also some sweetness and alcohol. Taste is malty raisin, with medium sweetness. Very smooth, with the alcohol fairly well masked.

Hazy, mahogany ale with a large, fizzy, off-white head. Great retention and ink-blot lacing. The aroma is earthy and vineous with lesser notes of brown sugar and nuts. Decently-balanced, beefy flavor. Nice, heavy malt and adequate hops. Dark fruit, and holiday fudge also detected. Full-bodied with a oily mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Lengthy, fruity, malty finish. Thanks to jbrus for the bottle.

Tasted on 1/7. Poured a deep brown/mahagony color with a small tan head. Aromas of caramel, brown sugar, toffee, dark fruits and slight yeast. Sweet tasting with a slight bitter aftertaste (well balanced). Alcohol content well hidden. I enjoyed this X-Mas beer.

Bottle, 25 cl. (boutgh @ Colruyt) Clear dark brown color, with a medium creamy head. Aroma yeast, spice, and light carmel. Medium body. Taste sweet bit spices, alcohol = present as a warming factor. Not bad.

Very fruity aroma, mainly apple but with a hint of cherry. Ruby color, light brown head, very nice lace. Light sweet, fruity, lightly hopped. You'd expect more from the body concidering it's a chrismas ale. Very good beer, especially when you keep in mind that I only paid 2.99 EURO for 6 bottles of 25cl.

Hotel super cads party. Nicey sweet malty notes, with a noteable inky bitterness, but in a good way. Very drinkable, which means by this time we finished it insted of throwing it down the toilet.
