I find myself continually comparing this beer to Canadian Lager, although Canadian has a more grainy taste and Boxer is more fruity and sweet.
None of the nasty typical cheap beer side effects.
When Canadian is around $2.00 a beer and Boxer can be found for less than $1.00 a can, well the choice is up to you.
The crown on the logo really bugs me and I had to research it to see where this beer comes from; As long as it’s not coming from England I guess I can still buy it.

Boxer is my shit. I fuckin drink that morning noon and night. It works in your car and nothing picks up a lady like telling them you got twelve fresh boxers in your fridge. And if you spill boxer on your carpet you can’t get the smell out and its beautiful. Furthermore the maker of boxer lager is a former graduate of the fine institution that I currently attend making it an alumni beer to the University of Calgary. I am currently pursuing sponsorship by Boxer Lager to start a boxer lager team at the UofC. If it wasn’t for this DAMN GOOD BEER I would not have lost my virginity. I like boxer, I also like the price, but I have to admit it has a bit of a strange taste not shared by any other beer I have tried.

A very good beer , mistook it for Bud out of the Fridge. Unmatched for the price 36 for10.99. Didn’t give me a headache like Miller or a hangover. Almost 10 dollars a 36er cheaper than Bud. If aroma or taste isn’t to your liking add some lime or lemon but I think its fine the way it is.

All you candy asses out there who rated this poorly should try a blind taste test w/ your favorite trendy cheap brew. I’ll bet you a pair of snug-legged levis that you can’t tell the difference. Be honest with yourselves; it’s an easy drinking, relatively tasty, inexpensive brew. For the fops in the crowd, it’s an easy target. For the honest beer consumers, it’s a great bargain and an enjoyable Wisconsin beer.

A basic lager beer in the value market space. It tastes better than TNT and is maltier than molson or labatt blue.

Now THIS is what I’m talking about: a cheap-ass beer that comes in cases of 36. Now, there are a LOT of cheap beers that are just plain gross (Classic Ice, I’m looking at you!) but this is not one of them. Sure, it’s not the best tasting beer but for a canned lager, it’s not half bad. I found it surprisingly easy to drink and even after 10 or 11 beers the flavor had not entirely worn out its welcome. Sure, I have some serious social qualms with the way that the Minhas Brewery is taking advantage of transient beer drinkers but there is no denying the sheer awesomeness of showing up at a party with a 36-bomb (and knowing that you payed less than $20 for it!)!

Comes nowhere close to Brewhouse Great West Lager from Saskatoon which sells for a buck a can at Superstore if you buy six cases. Its the most excellent beer and well loved in Alberta...six bucks cheaper than in Saskatchewan.

Cannette 473 ml. 5%. Couleur jaune or, mousse blanche, belles bulles. Arôme de malt et houblon. En bouche, un peu aqueuse, un peu de malt. Très rafraîchissante. Finale sans houblon et sans histoire.
