COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A special style of pale ale that has high hop bitterness, flavor, aroma and a higher alcohol content. Originally brewed in England for the long trip to India when additional hops were added for preservation. Boxing Cat TKO IPA has a medium body with some maltiness. Three different hop varieties contribute estery citrus and tangerine notes to this fine light orange-copper color beer.

From placard: [this] IPA has a medium body with some maltiness. Three different hop varieties contribute estery citrus notes to this fine light orange-copper color beer. Not as strong as I expected, given the flavor of the pale ale. Not as bitter. Decent body. Some webby lace. Long aftertaste.

Keg at Great Leap #6, Beijing. Hazy amber, creamy head. Grapefruity nose. Mid sweet with above medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and grapefruit. Long resiny bitterness. Too resiny and caramelly for me.

Pours a clear copper. Nice hoppy aroma, grassy, floral, and light citrus. The taste starts sweet and finishes with medium bitterness. Tastes piney with some citrus.

Light, bright copper color with a golden tint. Slow rising bubbles fill the glass and hold a 1/4" white head. Aroma is malty and bitter. Somewhere between a traditional amd.American IPA. Good bitterness but with a strong malt backbone.
