COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Full bodied and rich, a sultry jazz singer in your glass. Continuously hopped during the brew and dry hopped after fermentation with a single hop, this beer has a uniquely full flavour profile.

Keg at Tom’s Havanna Cafe. It pours hazy red-amber with a small offshore head. The nose is soft, juicy, blood orange, jammy berry, fruit cake, toasty brown sugars and stewed orange. The taste is smooth, bitter-sweet, toasty, brown bread, malt loaf, jammy action, Victoria sponge cake, light peppery spice, sticky and pine with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Well-rounded and really rather drinkable. Decent stuff.

Pours amber, aroma heavy and fruity. Flavour sweet with a bit of hop. Like Garrison’s Tall Ship, with a bit more kick.

Bottle. Bright orange amber, light golden head. Caramel malts balance with soft tropical fruit hops, bitter finish. Not too sweet, nice balance, nice hop character.

amber in the glass. strong aromas of hops and molasses. overly hopped for a red ale. much more like a pale ale. Not sure why it isn’t marketed as one.

Amber hue, looks decent, smells kind of hoppy, more what I’d expect of IPA territory, or perhaps a West Coast style Red. Decent head, sweetish mouthfeel and linger. Even though this is a far cry from most beers dubbed "Red Ale" because of the hops, it’s somehow out of balance. Overall decent but I won’t be running for another.

341ml bottle. Hopsy reds seem to be trendy right now, but these manages to be more than a bandwagon jumper. The bitterness is well balanced with the red malts. It is bitter without being too overpowering. Rather more drinkable than some more intense examples of this sub-style. Overall, a real hit for me.

Thanks gethinbeer! Deep amber pour with a thick off-white head. The nose is a bit caramelly with a touch of fairly assertive bitterness. Slightly woodsy bitterness with a lingering earthy flavour. Not very well-integrated or tasty. Some treacle and a very minerally finish. A miss for me. Malts are poorly constructed and they only hit a single dull note. Meh.

341 ml bottle into an English pint glass. Pours a dark amber with a hint of red to it. Light beige head which fades rather quickly. Malty caramel and moderate hoppiness. Kinda sticky on the palate but full and rich body. A bit complex on the back-end, with a moderate bitterness and varying levels of sweetness. Great stuff.
