Full bodied and rich, a sultry jazz singer in your glass. Continuously hopped during the brew and dry hopped after fermentation with a single hop, this beer has a uniquely full flavour profile.

On tap at Townhouse Brewery & Pub. Pours a clear amber gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a combination of light flora, grass and grains with a hint of caramel underlying. Flavor has more grass with a touch of pine and sweet grain supporting.

berkshirejohn (6074) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2016
Bottle at Harbour View Inn, Smiths Cove NS. A reddish amber pour with a thick cream head; full bodied with a sweet fruity taste that’s nicely balanced by the hops, which give a spicy edge that’s not typical of red ale.

Tranquillity (1877) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 11, 2016
Bottled at a lobster joint in cape Breton. Clear red-brown body, big light brown head. The aroma is sour, like rye bread. The taste is overly hoppy for being an Irish red, but has some good spiciness to it.

chinchill (4336) - South Carolina, USA - MAY 30, 2016
UPDATED: JUN 14, 2016 On tap at the brewery taproom. A rather undistinctive red ale from appearance to aroma to flavor, although the flavor may be a touch more hoppy/spicy than average for style. Faint coffee and roasted nuts notes.

(Rating #6683)

Scopey (12711) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 20, 2015
Keg at Tom’s Havanna Cafe. It pours hazy red-amber with a small offshore head. The nose is soft, juicy, blood orange, jammy berry, fruit cake, toasty brown sugars and stewed orange. The taste is smooth, bitter-sweet, toasty, brown bread, malt loaf, jammy action, Victoria sponge cake, light peppery spice, sticky and pine with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Well-rounded and really rather drinkable. Decent stuff.

Pours amber, aroma heavy and fruity. Flavour sweet with a bit of hop. Like Garrison’s Tall Ship, with a bit more kick.
