Commercial Description:
The gateway to craft beer production with a bright hop flavor and a pale golden color. The golden has an appearance similar to that of a Pilsener. Malt character is subtle and issues a hint of citrus.

I think this was the Golden but it was called Gantlet not Gateway. This is a really nice very hoppy German Pilsner type. Plenty of aromas, and tastes, with still a clean finish, Must be Close to Jever in IBU’s

On tap at the brewpub. Very bright pour, lively golden and a fine rich carbonation. Sharp grassy aromas and peppery hops. They weren’t kidding about this being closer to a pils than a Belgian blond. Soft mouthfeel, quite drinkable. Spicy and pert with enough soft citrus and malt to balance. Pretty decent.

Draft sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber color with a large head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of floral hops and caramel. Taste is fruity and leafy hops with a light maltiness. Fairly bitter throughout. Medium bodied.

(draft, ID’d as Gaston Golden) Clear golden body with small white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, peach, some earthy. Taste is moderately sweet, earthy, peach. Light-medium body, light sticky, some acidity. Much hoppier than I expected for a Golden.
