Boylan Bridge Hopped off the Tracks IPA

English malts offer a solid backbone in this solid standard IPA. Some alcohol is apparent in the aroma. Pours cloudy with a pillowy white head. Long darkly bitter finish. Caramel malt creeps into the finish. Somewhat astringent.

on tap-pours an off white head and amber color. Aroma is light/medium malt-caramel, secondary citrus. Taste is light/medium malt-caramel, secondary bittering hops.

Orangish pour with small light head (dark for an IPA?). Aroma of citrus, but flavor was rather bland and not as hoppy as most IPAs. I assume good starter IPA for those that don’t like the grapefruit finish of most of that style.

Tap at BB. Pours a clear light copper orange with a nice head. Aroma is solvent light grassy and orange zest hops, carapils sweetness. Flavor is more solvent, phenolic grassy mint, orange and herbs, a bit paint thinner in the end. Harsh.

This was dissappointing especially in light of their great Ganlet Golden. It was not nearly as hoppy, lighter ia all aspects except color. As it is new "hop"fully it will get bitter
