On tap in Idaho Falls at 2009 NABA. Pours a light straw color with a large white head. The aroma was great; a huge citrus hop note. Light caramel as well. The taste is great; lots of bitter hops, citrus, light caramel and oranges. I had a lot of IPAS that day, and this was one of the better ones.

Draft. Pours a super light golden hue. The beer has a super easy-going character, with a nice citric acidity while still retainining a gulpable, mellow AIPA thing ... (#4644, 7/3/2012)

Sampled at the NABA 06 Fest: Average appearance. You know, shimmering gold, sticky head with some islands of lacing that branch out and convert to the faith of lacing. Nose is hoppy, creamy, citrusy and fruity. Nice hoppy beer with a sweet flavor. It’s hard to tell if either it had a lot of finishing hops or was lightly dry-hopped. It has a nice character akin to the Hitachino Japanese Classic IPA but without the cedar.

Third stop during the ABA Beer Tour ’07 in Bozeman, Montana. Sampled at the Bozeman brewery brewpub as cask conditioned. Pours a semi-clear golden blonde brew with a thin white head that slowly dissolves to a fine film and ring. Aroma of caramel malt, orange and grapefruit zest and some pine hops than citrus. Not as over-the-top as the Bozeman Hopsimelia. Taste is smooth, medium bodied, creamy with no carbonation. Flavors has a slight caramel malt with lots of graefruit tastes. Finish is very bitter that lingers around for a while.

Very nice IPA, lots of big hop notes in the nose. Follows through into the flavor, with some rich and somewhat sweet caramel maltiness. Well balanced and really tasty.
