UPDATED: MAR 16, 2013 Tap. Pours clear gold/amber with average, creamy white head; decent retention and lacing. Aroma is grassy and floral hops, cereal and biscuit malts, lemon, pear, and light toast. Flavor is bready malts forward with supporting light fruit esters, citrus and floral hops, and light herbs; dry, lightly bitter finish. Medium body and low carbonation.

Serviceable IPA. Green hops on the nose. Medium amber color. Well balanced between caramel malts and citrusy hop flavors. Could use a bit more length and complexity.

On tap @ Bozeman Brewing. Clear amber with a small head. Aroma is citrus, caramel floral with some butterscotch. Flavor is sweet caramel malt and a medium hop bitterness with a light medicinal taste. Medium body with average carbonation. This tasted a bit off, could have been old or an off batch.

On tap at McKenzie Pizza again. A nice ipa bordering on a double with the caramel malt and full bodied sweetness it has going on. Citrus aroma and orange sweet candy flavor. Pretty tasty.

Draft @ the Brewery. Pours a pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy aroma with some hints of citrus. Fruity malty hoppy bitter citrus flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter finish with some hints of citrus in the aftertaste.

Sample at the brewery. Clear orange, creamy white head. Aroma of floral, tropical, pine and herby hops. Taste is more sweet than expected with lots of tropical hops and caramel. Medium body, smooth carbonation.
