Deep amber color with big light brown head. Nose of malt and hops. Big hoppy flavor up front that really go deep with citurs. Body is thick, with a nice balance of malt on the finish leaving a sweet smooth mix of the hops and malt.

Third stop during the ABA Beer Tour ’07 in Bozeman, Montana. Sampled at the Bozeman brewery brewpub on tap. This beverage was labeled as "Bozeman Port Wine Barrel Aged - Double Red Ale." Pours a hazy dark reddish-amber brew with no head. Top of brew has a faint thin swirl head and ring and sticks around. Aroma of caramel malt, white grape juice with a hint of a tawny port. Taste is highly sweet, syrupy, full bodied and with no carbonation. Finish is slightly smooth due to the high alcoholic content and sweet throughout. A few of these will knock you off your bar seat.
