Much better than original Ožujsko beer. It’s too bad that this beer you can only get in winter. It’s light bitter with hop taste.

Bierkrug (2131) - Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bavaria, GERMANY - APR 24, 2011
Part of the first German beer tasting in Idar-Oberstein (day two). Thanks to shrubber85. 500 ml bottle, pours a normal pils look. Aroma is a sweet gum. Taste is sweet with spices. Palate is lightly bitter.

Bottle at First German Ratebeer gathering (day 2) at Idar Oberstein - courtesy of Ogivlado. Sour barley malt aroma with light floral notes. Golden yellow color with small head. Honey malt and lightly bitter hay hops flavor. Light alcohol finish. Not bad but nothing to make it stand out.

Bottle courtesy of shrubber85, thanks! Bright golden color, scant white edge head. Aroma of straw and subtle white pepper. Taste is plain and lager-like. OK.

03/01/2011 - 50cl bottle @ home (2011-3) Thnx to Josip and Una for the bottle!

Clear dark yellow to light orange beer, creamy white head, stable and non adhesive. Aroma: mainly hops, some herbs and sweet malts, but in all pretty faint. MF: ok carbon, light body, watery texture. Taste: a little bit of hop, some malts, pretty flavourless. Aftertaste: little bit dry, practically none. Why are people rating this so high?

hrabren (24) - Zagreb, CROATIA - DEC 25, 2010
A special Croatian winter beer in a 0.5 l bottle. It has a different label each year, and this year it was designed by a young Croatian painter Mladen Donadini. It pours a white head that fades quickly. Pale golden color, carbonated. A hoppy aroma with some flower notes. Flavor is lightly bitter, hoppy, with almost no aftertaste at all. Watery palate. Although this beer is a bit better than an average European lager, it is still not as good as most people regard it.

This is great beer I drink very gladly every Winter and Spring. And every year it has a different etiquette, last two years was really ugly, but the beer was same, great as always.

heavy (2116) - Split, CROATIA - DEC 7, 2007
UPDATED: DEC 15, 2007 0.5 l bottle, pouring pale golden body with medium head. Aroma is nice sweet, bit fruity malty with springtime flowers originating from hops. Flavor is sweetish, pleasant with those flowers dominating through it. Reminds of Tuborg Gold, only better. For the style, full bodied, really nice oily textured. Not too much carbonated, why it should be anyway. Very pleasant finish, bit of honey there. One of the best Pilseners I’ve ever had, specially home, in the warm pre-Christmas spirit when you enjoy it with the person you care the most :)

Bottled. A clear blonde beer with a white and not persistent foam. The aroma is malty with some floral hops. The flavour is sweet with a touch of hops that however don’t give much bitterness. Medium body. Maybe not enough bitter for the style, but drinkable and with some character.

omhper (19214) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - APR 6, 2007
UPDATED: JUN 26, 2007 Bottled. Pale golden, rich head. Fruity slivovic aroma. Sweet and medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Notes of honey and grain. Some late resiny bitterness. A step up from mega-brew standards.
