Thin dark brown body. Opaque black body. Dry chocolatey and coffeeish aroma with burnt notes and some grassy hops. Dry roasty burnt chocolate and coffee taste. Sharpish with quite a bit of peppery heat. You can feel the chili. Very nice. (0.5l bottle from gr0ve.)

Aug 19, 2008 (Bottle) Pours black. The aroma is medium to heavily roasted with notes of dark chocolate, tar, salt liquorice and espresso alongside a light spiciness. The flavour is chocolaty with a late and mild peppery spiciness. The mouthfeel is clean and a bit watery. Light to medium bodied.

Aug 18, 2008 RBSG ’08: Poured black with a dark tan head. Quite a bit of milk chocolate in the aroma with a touch of chili or chaulk. I couldn’t make up my mind. The flavor was mostly of roasted malt and started semi-sweet. The finish dried out. Light-medium bodied. I wish the was more chili to it.

Aug 9, 2008 (6/29/08) Bottle sample at RBESG08 grand tasting in Plzen. Black-colored. Aroma of roasted malt and cocoa. Sweetish roasty flavor with some chocolate and a bit of caramel. Medium to full-bodied. Nice, but somehow I missed the chili in this one.

Aug 7, 2008 Bottle at the RBESG08 Grand tasting. Alround rating: Lots of roasty character, overpowring, spiceyness but just too roasty and one dimentional for me.

Aug 6, 2008 Bottle. Very light hop aroma with strong notes of roasted malts and chocolate. Black color with a brown head. Sweet body with notes of chocolate and light coffee. Sweet chocolate palate with a light hint of chili. Not bad.
