Dixen (1465), Copenhagen, Denmark Sep 27, 2005 Very yeasty nose, with lots of sweetness and notes of some coriander. Slight hazy yellow colored body, with a medium sized white head. Very sweet and quite fruity flavor, ends slight acidic and some notes of alcohol. duff (5405), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Sep 14, 2005 Tap@Plan B, Copenhagen. Quite yeasty nose. Pretty well balanced. Some banana esters, and definitely yeasty, some alcohol is noticed, quite smooth and sweet. chris_o (4409), London, Greater London, England Sep 13, 2005 Draught at Plan B, Copenhagen, August 2005. To say this beer was lively would be an understatement. It took about 15 minutes to pour. Hazy orange colour. Loads of orange and spices - clove, coriander and maybe a touch of cinnamon. Noticeably yeasty and distinctly sour, but with an underlying sweetness that lends an overall bittersweet feel. Although this does have some Belgian character, I wouldn’t really have had it down as a tripel. Nicely done though. I would never have guessed it has over 10% alcohol.
kook (2035), Perth, Western Australia, Australia Aug 26, 2005 Draught (Plan B): Cloudy gold with a white high carb head. Spicy, malty nose with loads of honey too. Spicy estery flavour with some nutty notes. Medium bodied, nice. omhper (10456), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 26, 2005 Draught at Plan B. Cloudypale amber. Aroma of honey and grass. Sweet with medium-full body and some almond character. Well balanced with notes of orange, curacao and honey. Technically near perfect, but lacking "it".
