NosirIwont (804), Aalborg Vestby, Denmark Jul 2, 2008 Updated: Jul 3, 2008Bottle. Pours dark amber brown with a beige head. Sourish, roasted malty aroma with notes of rye and burnt plastic as it warms. Not very IPA-like. Flavour is sweet and sourish roasted malt as well, and has a weird bitterness. Finish is bitter with a liquorice touch. Notes of apple and alcohol as it warms. This beer is more malt than hops, and as such not very much like an IPA. And it’s not too great either. 02-07-08. Pinball (224), Allerød, Denmark Jun 15, 2008 bottle, best bf. jan.1.2009 nice full aroma, plums, cognac, raisins, fruits. red/brownish, clear, small but beautiful head. great taste a little honey or sugar, some bitterness (good kind), a very small hint of aged beer.palate is thick and gentle. This one sure tastes like a good microbrew. Samma (46), Australia Apr 22, 2008 Bottle. Elegantly presented and looks great in the glass with a dark-ish amber hue and nice medium head. A little less exciting on the palate, with brown-ish leanings despite its IPA label. Bragesnak (974), Aarhus, Denmark Apr 10, 2008 Fredagsbaren på biologi, Aarhus, DK

A solid bitterness supplemented by a malty mouthfilling sweetness
petermadsen (310), Vesterbronxxx, Denmark Apr 2, 2008 If this was entered as an brown ale, I might have rated it a bit higher. To me, it’s far from being an IPA!
Brown and with an aroma of lightly toasted malt, caramel and hints of hops. The flavour shows fine roasted notes as well as notes of nuts, caramel and hops. Not really bitter...
