Ungstrup (11385), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 25, 2005 An orange beer with a head like whipped cream - long lasting. The aroma is sweet with faint hints of hops. The flavor is lovely hoppy and slightly buttery with a dry end. I’m so disappointed in the filtered beers from Brøckhouse - get hold of the quality control instead of filtering the beer. Papsoe (10522), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 7, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Brewmaster Allan Poulsen has for years refused to brew a Pilsener, but for some reason has changed his mind - that’s all right with me as long as he keeps up his renowned standards
Slightly hazy amber coloured beer with a decent, creamy head. Aromatic, hoppy nose (Saazer). Fairly solid body with an abundance of malt and a hoppy finish. Nice handicrafted beer. 070805 yespr (6943), Copenhagen O, Denmark Feb 3, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours clear golden orange with huge collapsing white head. Aroma is light fruity, mild pilsner malt and a light note of promising bitter hops. Flavour is classic pilsner, light fruity to a solid bitter hops driven flavour, light caramel malt too. Ends with a solid bitterness. joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 9, 2005 Bottled. Yellow coloured. Clear. Off-white head.
Aroma of fruit and hops.
Fruity flavour dominated by hops with some sweetness.
Dry bitter finish.
Hadn’t expected a pilsener from Brøckhouse, but at least it’s quite good.
Emil (6077), Copenhagen, Denmark May 22, 2005 Golden colour with a white head. Sweet fruity light hoppy aroma and a fruity taste. Medium body and a sweet dry finish.
