trapez (168), Hilleroed, Denmark May 10, 2008 Bottle 0.5 l. Bought Irma Hilleroed. Golden orange colour with high white head, which although disappears fast. Plenty of aroma - hops, hops and malt almost like a meadow. Taste is quite bitter as expected from the hops aroma, but the malt can clearly be differentiated. Far above average for Danish pilseners.
Grovlam (2925), Copenhagen, Denmark Jul 6, 2008 Bottle 50 cl. Average foamy white head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Somewhat cloudy yellow color. Aroma was quite Czech like with mild dusty and floral hops. Maybe Saaz. Some underlying caramel and mild toasted malt. Light to medium bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Light to moderated sweet and bitter flavor in good balance. Light dry and mild bitter floral finish. Refreshing that is for sure! saxo (2061), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark May 28, 2008 Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are fairly rich with hops. Malt and flowers as well. Nice bitter finish. plovmand (420), Helsinge, Denmark May 9, 2008 Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a medium white head. Yeast, hops and flowers in the aroma. Flavour is crispy hops and caramel. One of the better pilsners. Tasteful but still easy drinkable. Bottled
Well hopped but lacks the malty sweetness. As usual Brøckhouse is too dry
