(Hand bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Slightly hazy reddish brown with an off-white head. Fruity aroma with roasted malts. Medium body - again dominated by the roasted malts and a vague underlying acidity. Subdued bitterness. Rather close to the brewery’s Dunkel. 220308

Hand bottled bottle. A dark amber beer with a tan head. The aroma and taste is of light roasted malt, caramel and fruits. Medium body with a light dry finish.

Dark brown with tiny short lasting head. Sweet aroma with fruit, roasted malt and caramel notes. Sweet flavor with roasted malt, caramel and brewing cereal. Ends sweet.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours drk brown with a little tan head. Aroma is slight breadish with distinct notes of roasted malt. Flavour holds a light acidity in the roasted malt flavours. Toffee and light smooth chocolate malt. Shows a little hint of hops fruity note but also a minor brew process impurity - no infection though! Ends with a lingering roasted malt note with a slight acidity and mild bitterness.

Tap @ the brewery. Pours a muddy pale brown with a great staying and very creamy off white head. Mild aroma, some caramel, weak chocolate and a peppery hoppyness. Mild flavour as well, rye, caramel, chocolate (notable in the aftertaste). There is a grainyness and ashy-ness to it that is a bit unwanted. The aftertaste is long with a sharpish edge to it.
